These are my two favorites versions of the tale. The game required a square playing area of about 300 yards on a side. Usually, the subject is a saint, a king, a hero, a famous person, or a war. Seuss are fun, they lack the depth of tradition. After collecting the mud, it began to grow in size and spread outwards until it became the Earth as we know it. Gajendra trumpeted in pain and helplessness until he was hoarse. Some believed that even well-intentioned mermaids would cause great danger to men who believed they saw a woman drowning and would dive into the waters to save them.
