Imhotep is one example of the "personality cult" of Kemet, whereby a learned sage or otherwise especially venerated person could be deified after death and become a special intercessor for the living, much as the saints of Roman Catholicism. Creationists are not commonly found in the University; they are simply outsiders whose influence reaches into a handful of local communities. I incorporate this belief into my classroom and mentoring activities by fostering discussion, independent and/or group research, exchanging expertise between classmates, and having students perform tasks with consequences.
