The big problem with the calotype was its loss of detail through the appear; if only an emulsion could be spread on glass, this problem and the fragile calotype negative could be eliminated. Talbot from Britain said that he had invented the first negative/positive system that was called photography. Authorities in Mexico found a homemade bazooka that might have been used to launch drugs over the border, plus an artist draws monsters riding alongside passengers on New York's subways.
